St David’s Day (Wales)

St David’s Day is a national Welsh celebration since the 18th century that commemorates Saint David, the patron saint of Wales. The celebration features parades, festivities and singing. To mark the day, Welsh people around the world wear one or both of Wales’s national emblems, the daffodil and the leek. It is not a national public holiday.
