Running of the Bulls (Spain)

Running of the Bulls, celebrated during La Fiesta de San Fermin from July 6th to July 14th, is a famous event in Pamplona, Spain. Each morning of the festival, six bulls are released onto the streets, and thousands of brave individuals run in front of them, hoping to avoid getting caught. This tradition dates back to medieval times and honors Saint Fermin, who is said to have died while being chased by bulls. The festival concludes with the singing of ‘Pobre de Mi’ (Poor Me) by candlelight through the streets of Pamplona. The week-long celebration, which attracts over 1 million visitors annually, also features various other events and activities.
