Intersex Day of Solidarity

Intersex Day of Solidarity the birthday of Herculine Barbin, a French intersex person whose memoirs were published by the philosopher Michel Foucault. It is internationally observed as a day for civil awareness to highlight the issues faced by intersex people. It is also a day of remembrance for intersex people who are no longer living.
