International Wheelchair Day

International Wheelchair Day is an annual international day to celebrate the freedom wheelchairs give people and celebrate those who have made the constructed world of cities and towns more accessible for everyone. It is also a day to acknowledge and respond constructively to the fact that tens of millions of people in the world who would benefit from a wheelchair don’t have access to one.
